Our History

ROYAL GROUP started their journey in the year 1964, originally from Chowmuhani, Noakhali a small city in the southern part of Bangladesh, initially as a retailer of Agricultural Machineries and Spare Parts.

With the effort of late Mr. Hor Kishor Saha, An iconic man in the local Business Community, Royal Gold was first initiated. His legacy was taken over by his eldest son, Mr. Alak Saha, who elevated the business to new heights of success.

Bangladesh, an agriculturally motivated country, produces rice, wheat, corn, legumes, fruits, vegetables, chicken meat, fish, and seafood. Rice is considered the main staple in the Bangladeshi diet. The necessity to research, improve, develop and invent new agricultural technologies is important to maintain maximum efficiency to farm in less arable land using limited natural resources. In order to increase the importance of developing new agricultural technologies, such as salt tolerant or submergence tolerant seed varieties and to help increase productivity for future demand needs, Royal Group introduced Royal Gold for the betterment of the society and nation.

Royal Gold today is a developing organization in the agricultural and farming industry of Bangladesh. It’s been our greatest mission to evolve and innovate agricultural technologies available to aid our farmers. Royal Gold grows every day with the principle to embrace and preserve the agricultural heritage which is an integral part of this country’s progress.

It is my aim for Royal gold to achieve the reputation of a high standard, reliable agro solution & service provider company in the agricultural technology industry. Bangladesh is an agriculturally motivated country and at Royal gold we are singularly focused on the necessity to research, improve, develop and invent new agricultural technologies that are important to maintain maximum efficiency to farm in less arable land using limited natural resources. We develop agricultural machineries, spare parts and services with an intent to bring a positive change in our buyer’s and especially our farmer’s hard working life.
